At the ballpark, the Langley fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Kevin
Millwood(7-4) finally bested his Caracas opposite, A.J. Burnett(4-6), by the
score of 2 to 0.
Langley took the lead for good in the bottom of the 2nd inning scoring one
runner utilizing 2 base hits. That early run support was enough for Millwood
and Langley. Caracas was out-hit by Langley, 10 hits to 3.
Millwood got help from Justin Speier who was credited with his 3rd save.
Burnett was the losing pitcher. He pitched 5 innings allowing 7 hits and 1
walk.
